Thanks to medical research, deaths from breast cancer have decreased by 40% since 1989. Still, every two minutes a woman in the U.S. receives a breast cancer diagnosis, and every 13 minutes, someone dies from metastatic breast cancer. None of us can afford to reduce our efforts.
Today’s breast cancer research means tomorrow’s improvement in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Medical research funding allows labs and research teams to operate, clinical trials to run, and advances and breakthroughs to continue to give hope and save lives.
